Description
One of our UnScammed.com readers signed up for 1 month of personal training that met with him once every week ($40) so he could learn how to use the gym equipment. When he tried to cancel, he found that he was stuck in a one year agreement where he was billed $40/week without the possibility of canceling unless he had a doctors note stating he was injured.
When he initially signed up he asked not only the agent in the video above, but the management of the LA Fitness if he would be able to cancel in a months time, as he did not want to keep paying $40 weekly for lessons when he was comfortable using the equipment. Both the trainer that signed him up and the manager, in the presence of our reader said he would be able to. Yet when he came in to cancel he was given the run around.
