    Don’t Train in One Plane

    Functional training programs should always be sport specific so that the body is able to meet the physical demands that is required of that sport. ⁣⁣

    The goal is to train and educate (or re-educate) the muscles by integrating movement patterns that mimic the golf swing.⁣⁣

    In order to do this, the training program must incorporate exercises that are multi-planar, thus challenging the body through the 3 planes of motion.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

    1️⃣ Transverse or Rotational
    2️⃣ Frontal or Lateral/Side to Side
    3️⃣ Sagittal or Forward/Backward/Vertical
    ⁣⁣
