    Very light and low in calories, this diet puffed Rice Namkeen/ murmura Chiwda Namkeen is a best snack or munch for weight watchers. It is very not just very light and crunchy but also very easy to digest.

    Here is what you need to make this healthy Puffed Rice Namkeen
    Ingredients for Murmura Chiwda Recipe
    o Puffed Rice roasted 6 cups
    o 3-4 tsp oil
    o ½ tsp mustard seeds
    o ½ cup peanuts with skin
    o ½ cup chana
    o ½ cup almonds
    o ½ cup sliced dried coconut
    o ½ cup Namkeen sabudana
    o 1 tsp rock salt
    o 1 tsp sugar
    o 1 tsp dry mango powder
    o ½ tsp red chilli powder
    o Some curry Leaves
    o Roasted pappad, bundi ( optional)

    Method to make Puffed Rice Namkeen/ mumura chiwda namkeen

    1. Heat oil in a big pan/ kadai. Sauté peanuts, almonds, dried coconut slices and Namkeen sabudana one by one.
    2. Add mustard seeds. When the mustard seeds crackle add curry leaves and sauté till the curry leaves become crisp.
    3. Add puffed rice and mix well. Crisp puffed Rice on low flame for 2 minutes. Keep stirring
    4. In a small bowl add rock salt, powdered sugar, red chilli and dry mango powder and mix well.
    5. Add to masala mixture to the kadai and stir well. Switch off the flame.
    6. Combine the sautéed ingredients into the kadai and mix all well. Add roasted chana, bundi and papad if you like.
    7. Let it Cool completely and store in an airtight tin.
