Kahar Saidun With his 23 years of experience, Kahar teaches, speaks and lives martial arts. Dubbed the “Malay Ip Man” by The Star newspaper in 2010 for his passion in Wing Chun Kungfu, he was also featured several times in all the Chinese Newspapers in Malaysia, in TV2, in TV3, in Astro Awani news, in martial magazine “Seni Beladiri” and many different medias Malaysia and Taiwan. His latest appearance was in October 2014 on TV3’s “Tunggu Sekejap” with famous Malaysan celebrity, Awie. Kahar has been practicing Wing Chun since 1991 and is currently one of the 2 Master Instructors inside the oldest Wing Chun martial arts school and association in Malaysia, which is the “Persatuan Tinju Wing Choon Yip Kin Kuala Lumpur” (first established 1926, formally registered 1960). He has been teaching since the year 2002. Other martial arts he learned include Hong Kong Wing Chun (3 different styles), Taekwondo (WTF Green Belt), Commando Krav Maga (Israeli Special Forces’ Fighting Method, rated most deadliest modern self defence technique in the world) and Silat Lian ( a Muslim Martial Arts of Chinese Origins). Kahar is a Mechanical Engineer by training and he is also a Certified Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Certified Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Coach and Certified in Applied NLP for Training Kungfu.
