When we use ez bar the wrists hold it tightly so there are comparatively less chances of injury. Moreover we can lift heavier on ez rod as the rod itself is lighter than straight rod.
If we compare straight bar and EZ bar which one is better, I will choose the straight bar . Though you should also use the ez rod sometimes ( changing workout time to time) as it shocks the muscles for better growth.
