    Someone recently asked me how do I handle my family’s judgment about losing weight after eating a healthy plant-based diet. In this video, I give my response based on personal experience.

    One thing I would like to add to what I discuss in the video is that it’s essential to communicate our feelings when someone is judging our lifestyle and use « I statements » to help them understand how we’re affected by their words.  For example, we could say, « I understand that you’re concerned about my weight loss and lifestyle choices, but it hurts me when you tell me that I’m too skinny. »
