Hey, what’s up? I’m Jeff Cowans. I’m going to teach you how to do the Cupid shuffle. I’m sure you’ve seen it at a party, wanted to get it and try it, and now you’re going to learn it. Here’s how it goes. You take four steps to the side, yeah, to your right side. You’re going to go one, two, three, four. Got it? Now take four steps to the other side, which is the left. Six, seven, eight, step, step, step. Easy enough? You guys ready? One, two, three, four. Other side. One, two, three, four. You got it?
All right. As you can see, we’re all doing different with the hands, so that’s cool. Do whatever you want with your hands; just make sure that your steps are four to the right, four to the left. You got it? Let’s go. Five, six, seven, eight. One, two, three, four. Other way. One, two, three, four.
Now we’re going to do some kicks here. You’re going to right, left, right, left, and the kicks are kick, kick, kick, kick. Yes, let’s put a little hop in it. When you kick, jump a little. Six, seven, eight, kick, kick, kick, kick. Got that? Let’s put it together. Five, six, seven, eight. One, two, three, four. Other way. Five, six, seven, now kick. You go kick, kick, kick, kick. Got it?
All right. Let’s add one more thing, and then you’re going to put it all together. You’re going to go, with your knees, right, left, right, left. We call it walk it out, but now you’re going to put the walk it out that you already know into this. So you go one, two, three, four. At the same time, you’re turning to your left. Six, seven, eight. One. Got it? There you go, Cupid shuffle.
Let’s put it all together from the beginning. Five, six, seven, eight. You’re going one, two, three, four. Other way. Five, six, seven, eight. Now kick, kick, kick, kick, kick, turn, turn, turn, turn. You got it? One, two, three, four. Other way. And kick. Walk it out. We’ll continue for you. You go. One. Other way. Kick. Turn. To the right. To the left. And kick. Walk it out. Got it? We go. Other way.
