From July 6th to 10th teacher and international Brain Gym instructor, Padraig King, will guide teachers in West Cork Education Centre to make Literacy and Learning more fun, effective and successful in their schools.
The course is offered over 5 days and after evaluating how their own school, and they themselves, support literacy and learning at present, Padraig King will lead them to discover the Brain Gym activities, approaches and strategies that will make learning and literacy more successful.
Padraig King will also demonstrate and teach how to use the Brain Gym activities to unlock potential and release blockages to easier reading, computation, spellings, maths, handwriting, self expression, coordinated movement, personal organisation, communication. comprehension and learning.
This course is open to Primary and Secondary school teachers.
It offers teachers an opportunity to
learn to use Brain Gym,
implement positive improvements in how literacy and learning are carried out in schools and
deliver a simple, fun and engaging way to switch on learners before they engage in literacy activities to
ensure maximum participation and success.
