    This 10 Min Lower Ab workout is the perfect ab workout for after strength training, or at home, and you only need a flat surface for it.
    Throughout my recovery with shoulder surgery, I have been in search for exercises that focused anything that didn’t involve my shoulder.
    This workout in particular is something I have went to a lot throughout the process of getting back into my normal shape.

    1ST EXERCISE – SPREAD-LEG LEG-LIFTS
    Get into a position like you are going to make a snow angel, and lift your legs to meet your feet with your hands in the middle and create a crunching motion. Repeat this for 3 sets of 12.

    2ND EXERCISE – ALTERNATING SPREAD-LEG LEG-LIFTS
    Staying in the same position as you were before, bring your left arm across your body to meet your right leg, while keeping both straight. Repeat with other arm for 3 sets of 6 for each leg. (12 total)

    3RD EXERCISE – STRAIGHT-LEG LEG-LIFTS
    The technique of this move is simple and you have probably seen it in my videos before. Keeping your legs and arms straight, lift them simultaneously and meet at the top. I put it as the 3rd workout to prepare you for the last burnout in the 4th set. Perform 3 sets of 12 for these.

    4th EXERCISE – BUTTERFLY/CROSSOVER LEG-LIFT SUPERSET
    The last part of this workout is a burnout to give it all you got. You are going to be lifting your legs about 6 inches off the ground while keeping both arms straight out beside you. Perform 12 kicks and then 13 crossovers to total 25. Repeat this 4 times to finish the workout.

    THREE TIPS:
    1.) Exhale when you crunch in with these movements to intensify the burn in your mid-section.
    2.) If you want to make it a little easier on yourself, don’t wear sneakers or shoes.
    3.) Make sure you are hydrated and properly warmed-up before any exercise.
