    Description

    After proper warm up, classes have been consisted of 3 circuits of high intense exercises.
    1) 3 sets of 4 exercises with 1min each, rest of 15 seconds (I tend to split it into left and right, two different exercises, one person active and the other assisting, or a long movement exercise (plank to a side plank with a push up)
    2) 3 sets of 4 exercises with 45s each, and rest of 15 seconds.
    3) 3 sets of 4 exercises with 30s each, and rest of 15 seconds (generally all of them power movements – jumps, slams, (…)
    I have been asking to the members to partner up to perform some exercises. Sometimes to assist the other, sometimes to do an exercise with the other (a side plank facing each other and using a resistance band to engage back muscles), and sometimes competing against other partners (thug of war).
    Hardly ever I ask the members to do burpess, or a bunch of push ups, because my understanding as a trainer is these exercises will do more damage than good. I base my choices into functional exercises, I reinforce to focus on proper form quality than high number of reps, and into fun, and entertaining exercises. My classes have been becoming very popular.
